It  is a training center and a Youth Hostel. It is located in Ramlieh in the Aley District, Mount Lebanon. Ramlieh  is 40 km from Beirut.

Ramlieh Youth Hostel is considered to be a unique center in the Middle East for the services provided for environmental groups as well as for social groups, business groups and tourists. The area, where AFDC is located, is rich in flora, numerous fruit trees , aromatic and medicinal plant species and others.
